SAINT GEORGE'S DAY - SANT JORDI'S DAY
St. George's Day is on 23 April.
It is England's national Day.
St. George is the patron saint of England and many other countries.
His emblem, a red cross on a white background, is the flag of England and part of the British flag.
Sant Jordi is the patron Saint in Catalonia.
On the 23rd of April we celebrate Sant Jordi's Day, which is also the Book and Rose Day.
The most popular legend in Catalonia tells that at Montblanc, in conca de BarberĂ , there was a terrible dragon which attacked men and beasts.
