WHITE CHRISTMAS

This is one of the most famous and popular Christmas songs.
It was written by Irving Berlin in 1942.

White Christmas by Bing Crosby (1947)

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas                I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know                    With every Christmas card I write
Where the treetops glisten                               May your days be merry and bright
and children listen                                           And may all your Christmases be white
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

Christmas cartoon - Sung by The Drifters (1954)
White Christmas by Human Nature  (2013)
White Christmas Karaoke
A White Christmas means that at least 2.5 centimetres of snow have fallen on Christmas Morning. This is more common in some countries than in others. For example, in the United Kingdom there are not a lot of White Christmases but in Canada there is almost always a White Christmas.

THANKSGIVING DAY - THURSDAY 22nd NOVEMBER 2018

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving is celebrated each year on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada.

What do people do?

Thanksgiving Day is traditionally a day for families and friends to get together for a special meal.
The meal often includes a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, pumpkin pie, and vegetables.

Thanksgiving Day is a time for many people to give thanks for what they have.
Thanksgiving Day parades are held in some cities and towns on or around Thanksgiving Day. Some parades or festivities also mark the opening of the Christmas shopping season. Some people have a four-day weekend so it is a popular time for trips and to visit family and friends.
