The Sun is a star and it's orbited by planets, asteroids, comets and other things.

There are eight planets in the Solar System. From closest to farthest from the Sun, they are: Mercuri, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

SAINT GEORGE'S DAY - SANT JORDI'S DAY

St. George's Day is on 23 April.

It is England's national Day.


St. George is the patron saint of England and many other countries.



His emblem, a red cross on a white background, is the flag of England and part of the British flag.


Sant Jordi is the patron Saint in Catalonia.

On the 23rd of April we celebrate Sant Jordi's Day, which is also the Book and Rose Day.

The most popular legend in Catalonia tells that at Montblanc, in conca de Barberà, there was a terrible dragon which attacked men and beasts.

THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT by Beatrix Potter

Helen Beatrix Potter was born in 1866 in London.
She wrote and illustrated "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" in 1900. This story became a children's classic throughout the world.


Peter Rabbit, his mother and his three sisters(Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail) live under a tree in a big forest. 
Peter is very naughty! He desobeys his mother and goes to Mr. Mc Gregor's garden...
